Sportnco (GiG SportX)
Sportnco was a French sportsbook and player-account-management supplier based in Toulouse, selling turnkey betting and gaming systems to operators in regulated European, Latin American and African markets. It was acquired by Gaming Innovation Group and the product now ships as SportX, part of GiG Software PLC's platform stack alongside CoreX, SweepX and ServiceX. The Sportnco name is no longer used as a product brand and sportnco.com redirects to gig.com.

History
Sportnco built an in-house sportsbook and PAM aimed at licensed markets — France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Romania, Colombia and francophone Africa among them. Gaming Innovation Group announced its acquisition of Sportnco in December 2021 and completed it in 2022, folding the technology into GiG's platform and rebranding the sportsbook SportX. GiG retains a hub in Toulouse, Sportnco's original home. GiG then split itself in two. The legal separation completed on 30 September 2024: the affiliate and media business was renamed Gentoo Media Inc. and remains dual-listed in Oslo and on Nasdaq Stockholm, while the platform and sportsbook business continued as an independent company, GiG Software PLC, whose Swedish Depository Receipts began trading on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market on 1 October 2024. GiG Software PLC states it was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in St Julian's, Malta. Sportnco's own founding year could not be verified, and because this entry covers two lineages — Sportnco's and GiG's — no founding year is recorded rather than asserting either date as the vendor's.
