Soft2Bet
Soft2Bet is a Malta-based iGaming company that both operates its own consumer betting and casino brands and licenses that same technology stack to third-party operators as a turnkey B2B product. What is proprietary is the platform itself — player account management, CRM, CMS and payments — together with the gamification layer marketed as MEGA (Motivational Engineering Gaming Application). The sportsbook is not: checks of two of its own brands in August 2026 found betinia.se and wazamba.com loading their betting product from sb2frontend-altenar2.biahosted.com, which is Altenar infrastructure, so the turnkey sportsbook Soft2Bet sells is an integration rather than its own odds and trading engine.

History
Soft2Bet was founded in 2016 by Uri Poliavich, who remains its chief executive, and is headquartered in Sliema, Malta. It grew first as a multi-brand B2C operator, building and running its own casino and sportsbook brands, and subsequently packaged that platform as a B2B turnkey product sold to third-party operators, positioning itself as a technology supplier alongside its own brand portfolio.
The company pursued regulated-market licences market by market rather than operating solely offshore, and by the mid-2020s held licences across Malta, Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Greece, Spain, Ireland and Ontario, among others, with roughly 1,000 employees. Its MEGA gamification product was named Product Launch of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA 2025, and Soft2Bet took an award at the SBC Awards Americas in June 2026. The sportsbook in that package is not its own: its site presents the product as built on official third-party data feeds, and checks of its own brands in August 2026 found betinia.se and wazamba.com serving the betting product from sb2frontend-altenar2.biahosted.com, an Altenar host. The platform, player account management, CRM, CMS and MEGA are what Soft2Bet builds.
On 7 July 2026 Investigate Europe, with fifteen partner titles, published the 'Soft2bet Files', reporting that Soft2Bet and connected parties had received around EUR 600m from about 145 sites carried on unlicensed-gambling blacklists. Ireland's regulator said it was examining the matter with a view to enforcement action and Ontario's AGCO said it was reviewing the issues raised; neither had reached a decision. The brands OnlySpins and Betwarts closed in July 2026.
Notable
- Founded in 2016 by Uri Poliavich and headquartered in Sliema, Malta; its own site cites around 1,000 employees.
- Runs its own consumer brands alongside the B2B business, including Betinia, Don.ro, Quick Casino, CampoBet, ToonieBet, TopBet, ElaBet, Lodur, Betoro, Swiper and Zinx.
- Its MEGA (Motivational Engineering Gaming Application) gamification product was named Product Launch of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA 2025.
- Holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, the Swedish Gambling Authority, the Danish Gambling Authority, Romania's ONJN, iGaming Ontario, the Hellenic Gaming Commission, Spain's DGOJ and the Irish regulator.

- Soft2Bet does not appear as an operator on the iGaming Ontario register; the registered entity is Canadix Limited, with the sites Betinia, Swiper and ToonieBet. The link between Canadix and Soft2Bet rests on Soft2Bet's own portfolio page and is not confirmed by any corporate record.
- The sportsbook sold inside the turnkey package is Altenar's, not Soft2Bet's: betinia.se and wazamba.com load their betting product from sb2frontend-altenar2.biahosted.com. The platform, player account management, CRM, CMS and the MEGA gamification layer are proprietary.

Disputed client claims
- Campeonbet — a confusion of names: Soft2Bet's brand is CampoBet. campeon.bet belongs to L.C.S Limited (C-64070, Ta' Xbiex, Malta) and campeonbet.ee to Campeon Interactive EE Limited (Cyprus); neither entity is connected to Soft2Bet, and campeonbet.com now returns HTTP 410, meaning it has ceased operation.
- Yoyocasino — the .se site only: yoyocasino.se belongs to Isix Limited (Malta C 108055, licence 24Si1788) at Soft2Bet's address. yoyocasino.com is a different operator, Star Jar (IOM) Limited, Isle of Man registration 018864V, licensed by the Isle of Man commission since 1 June 2022.
- Wazamba — probable but not confirmed by any corporate record: it does not appear on Soft2Bet's own portfolio page, and wazamba.com discloses neither an operator nor a licence anywhere. It is named as a Soft2Bet brand only in the Investigate Europe investigation.
How well established
The technical fingerprint is inferred rather than directly documented. The founding year, the founder, the Sliema headquarters, the licence set and the brand portfolio are confirmed by Soft2Bet's own site and press releases. The sportsbook, however, is not proprietary: checks of two of the company's own brands in August 2026 found betinia.se and wazamba.com loading their betting product from sb2frontend-altenar2.biahosted.com, which is Altenar infrastructure. What Soft2Bet builds itself is the platform, player account management, CRM, CMS and the MEGA gamification layer. Two operators previously listed as clients have accordingly been moved to the disputed list. The Irish regulator's examination and the Ontario AGCO's review are announced but undecided, and a EUR 15m Spanish penalty reported alongside them concerns connected casinos rather than Soft2Bet itself, with neither a date nor the entities named; nothing could be established for Denmark or the MGA.
