History
Zitro was founded in 2007 by Johnny Ortiz and began as a supplier of video bingo games for bingo halls, expanding to a growing number of countries. At the start of 2016 it introduced its first video slot games, a dedicated system for bingo halls and a stronger push into the online market. Its Spanish company Zitro Technologies S.L.U., which holds the site's copyright, is based in Pozuelo de Alarcón near Madrid, and its contact page lists further group companies in Luxembourg, Spain, India, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, the United States, Malta and Mexico. It says more than 700 staff work at its technology campuses in Barcelona and Bangalore.
Its land-based range includes the Fantasy, Concept, Glare and One cabinet families running link and multi-game titles such as Legendary Hammer, Brave Dragon, Fu Frog, Fu Pots and the 88 Link series, alongside video bingo and electronic bingo. Zitro Digital offers these land-based titles in online versions together with online-first and seasonal games, and in September 2026 announced the launch of its content with the operator DoradoBet in Peru. Zitro Malta Limited holds the group's licence from the Malta Gaming Authority.
