History

Upgaming says it began in 2014 with the aim of building a scalable ecosystem for experienced operators. It launched its in-house sportsbook and game aggregation system in 2016, opened an in-house game studio in 2018, and in 2019 added an affiliate system, CRM, bonus engine and management dashboard to its platform. In 2020 it opened offices in the Netherlands and Germany and adopted the Upgaming name, followed by an office in Malta in 2022 and one in Bulgaria in 2023.

In 2023 its aggregator was named Aggregator of the Year, its crash mini-game Aero won Best Crash Game at SiGMA Europe, it launched a Casino API and it received authorisation for its sportsbook in the Netherlands. In 2024 it launched an Enterprise Platform combining white-label and turnkey models and obtained GLI certification in Brazil; in 2025 it opened a branch in Argentina and launched Upgames as a separate brand for its mini-games.
