History
UltraPlay was established in 2010 and launched its sports betting platform in 2011. Its own timeline records the launch of one of the first Bitcoin casinos in 2012, a second-generation sportsbook platform in 2013 and, in 2014, live betting on esports, which it says it was the first to offer and which became its specialism. It reports entering the Asian market in 2016, expanding its ODDS.GG esports betting solution in 2017 and introducing a hybrid live-betting model for esports in 2018.
The company received an ICE Landmark Award in 2020 for ten years in the market, became part of ODDS Group in 2022 and entered Latin America in 2023; a 2024 news post describes it exhibiting with fellow group companies BitLabz and Odds.Online. It works from an office in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a team it puts at more than 100 employees, and its CEO is Mario Ovcharov. The site footer shows the marks of the Malta Gaming Authority, Gaming Curacao, the Gambling Commission and Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency, alongside GLI, ISO and Bulgarian Institute of Metrology logos, without licence numbers.
