History
Sportslots.com announced in November 2023 that it had signed with Ethereal Gaming, which supplies its game development kit, remote game server and distribution network, so that the studio could concentrate on sports-themed game design. Its stated aim is to close the gap between sports betting and casino by working with sportsbook and esports providers, and it offers to rebrand its games as bespoke titles for operators.
Its first release, Plinko Basket, came out on 11 July 2024 (announced later that month), and its first crash game, Football Crash, was released on 9 October 2024 with a 92% RTP and a shared-ticket multiplayer feature called Crash Pot. Both release announcements quote Iñaki Fernandez, co-founder and CTO of Ethereal Gaming, who refers to Sportslots.com as 'our' brand, and the site's privacy policy is written in the name of Xin Gaming.
