History
SkillOnNet was founded in 2005 with a peer-to-peer backgammon platform and launched the poker site RedKings.com in 2006. After selling five Playtech-licensed casinos, it obtained a Malta Gaming Authority licence and launched its own casino platform, with EUcasino as the flagship. Over the following years it added a Danish licence, acquired Jackpot Party from WMS/Scientific Games, launched DrueckGlueck under a Schleswig-Holstein licence, and in 2017 launched PlayOJO, which won awards including Casino Rising Star at the EGR Operator Awards and, in 2023, three EGR Global Operator Awards.
From 2019 it entered further regulated markets: Sweden, Spain and Portugal (PlayUZU and BacanaPlay), New Jersey, Germany, Ontario, Mexico and, in 2025, Brazil. On the B2B side it became Genting's online casino arm through a site-licensing deal, formed joint ventures with Buenos Aires Slots in Argentina and Regency in Greece, and offers turnkey brands such as SwiftCasino and SlotStars. In 2022 it acquired the game studio Peter & Sons. Its head office and core platform development are in Cyprus, with further offices in Malta, the UK, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Brazil and Argentina.
