History

Scout was founded in Stockholm in 2013 to build a fantasy sports engine for betting operators, listed on Nasdaq First North in 2016 and made its first US operator deployment in 2018. The company says the platform then spent 2020 to 2024 largely in maintenance mode. In April 2026 Impact Win acquired Scout, with the share purchase agreement signed on 10 March and the transfer closed on 22 April; a delisting from First North was initiated and new leadership, with John Ryott as chief executive, began rebuilding the platform as version 3.0.

The new fantasy platform went live in September 2026; the site labels drafts as in production with operators, pick'em as in pilot and private leagues as in development, with scoring across football, NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. An optional 'impact rail', described as planned for launch with a pilot operator, would route a configurable share of each settled wager to a grassroots club the operator picks. Scout also markets fantasy to media and telecom companies, and in 2026 announced an AI live casino with photoreal generated dealers over certified RNG outcomes, targeted for Q4 2026 under a Tobique licence with an MGA licence expected in Q1 2027. It operates through Scout Ltd and Scout & Co Limited in Malta, with offices in Stockholm, Sliema and Lviv.

Notable

  • Listed on Nasdaq First North in 2016; a delisting was initiated in 2026 after the Impact Win acquisition.
  • Its optional impact rail, listed as planned, is designed to route a configurable share of each settled wager to a grassroots club the operator picks.
  • Its AI live casino, announced in 2026 for a Q4 2026 launch, is to use generated photoreal dealers rendered against certified RNG outcomes.
  • Its licensing registry, updated 4 May 2026, lists US state registrations as pending review after the acquisition.

How well established

The founding year, acquisition dates, Maltese entities, licence numbers and product plans are documented on the official site. As of October 2026 the AI live casino had not launched and US registrations were listed as pending; the site contradicts itself on some figures (its press fact sheet cites live US state licences, 22 live operators and impact-rail payouts that the licensing registry and product pages list as pending or planned), so those figures were not used.
