History
Racjin Co., Ltd. was established in Osaka in April 1995 and began with video-game planning and development, its early credits including Tengai Makyou Shinden for Neo Geo and Snowboard Kids titles for PlayStation and Nintendo 64. In 1999 it set up the music label Radix for sound production. The company name derives from a Japanese term for a 'god of entertainment', first written in kanji and later changed to Racjin.
In 2004 it opened a GM division to plan and develop pachinko and pachislot machines, handling video, sound, sub-program, LCD, lamp and gimmick control while the main program stays with the manufacturer; a Tokyo GM unit followed in 2011. It released its own social game in 2012, and its history page lists later console and mobile work for Japanese publishers, the most recent entry being Fishing Spirits Mobile for Bandai Namco under 2023. The company reports more than 130 game titles and more than 90 gaming-machine projects.
