History
Push Gaming was incorporated in England on 4 October 2010 by James Marshall and, from 2011, Winston Lee, both of whom remain directors. It built an HTML5, portrait-first catalogue early and became known from around 2018 for a small number of long-lived high-volatility titles, of which Jammin' Jars and Razor Shark are the most widely distributed. It obtained Maltese and British B2B licences in January 2020.
On 1 May 2023 LeoVegas Group announced an agreement to acquire a majority stake through its investment arm LeoVentures, with a parallel announcement from MGM Resorts International, which had taken over LeoVegas in November 2022. The transaction completed on 1 September 2023. Push kept its own platform, remote game server and management, with Marshall as chief executive. The price was never disclosed. A casino listing Push Gaming is therefore listing a studio majority-owned by an operator group, not an independent supplier — and the UK operating company files a 'no registrable person with significant control' statement, so that chain is not visible in Companies House.
Notable
- Majority-owned by LeoVegas Group, and through it by MGM Resorts International, since September 2023 — it is no longer independent.
- Kept its own platform and remote game server after the acquisition rather than being folded into LeoVegas technology.
- Its UK company files a 'no registrable person with significant control' statement, so the LeoVegas ownership does not appear in Companies House records.
- Deliberately low release cadence: roughly thirty games at the time of acquisition.
- Began supplying BetMGM in December 2024.
Notable work
- Jammin' Jars
- Jammin' Jars 2
- Razor Shark
- Razor Returns
- Fat Rabbit
How well established
The English incorporation, the directors and the LeoVegas and MGM announcements are documented. The size of the stake and the price were never disclosed, and the ownership does not appear in the UK company's own Companies House filings, which record no person with significant control.
