Psiclone Games

Psiclone was formed in June 2007 by Mike Fox to make gaming content for retail markets, initially in the UK; the site, read in October 2026, still names him as running the company. Its news archive from 2010 to 2014 covers UK B3 and bingo titles such as Fairground Fortunes, Moonshine Mob and Snakes, Ladders & Cash Adders, some produced with Inspired Gaming Group and adapted for Italy, Slovakia, Mexico and Colombia. Its reputation for consistent retail content led Playtech PLC to buy the company in January 2014, after which Psiclone was put in charge of all of Playtech's retail slot content worldwide.

The studio designs games for Playtech's retail markets, including UK licensed betting shops, bingo halls and adult gaming centres, Italy, Spain, Norway, Denmark and Finland, and adapts games to local regulation and player preferences rather than shipping identical content. It also releases a limited number of its retail games online on Playtech technology and brings selected titles from other Playtech studios into retail. The site says it manages development teams in Kyiv, Tallinn and Stockholm besides its Lichfield office, and a careers page written during the COVID-19 pandemic described a team of 30 covering art, code, maths and QA.
