History
Playzia says it was established in 2024 by an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in player-facing games, with a team drawn from other game studios. It planned a pipeline of about three games a month across new-mechanic, classic and jackpot slots, table games, instant-win, crash and small probability games, localised into more than 50 languages, and its early releases included Tale of the Red Dragon, Safari Kingdom and The Great Fishing Adventure.
In January 2025 it announced a three-year deal with ITV Studios for a series of Love Island-themed slot, crash and instant games, starting with Love Island: Love in a Spin in June 2025. The same year it added Megaways titles and signed distribution with SOFTSWISS, St8.io, Light & Wonder, Greentube, EveryMatrix and Hub88, plus operator deals with Novibet, Midnite and ZEAL, followed by the Tote in February 2026. It was shortlisted at the EGR B2B Awards 2025 and for European Casino Content Supplier (under five years) at the EGR Europe Awards 2026.

How well established
The 2024 founding, release history, branded-content deal and distribution partnerships are documented on the official site and its news pages. The official site does not state a legal entity, location or licence: the footer's privacy and terms links lead nowhere, and none of its 35 news posts names a company or office.
