History
Playson was founded in 2012 with development in Ukraine and a corporate base in Sliema, Malta. It initially built land-based-style slots for Eastern European operators, then reset: it deleted almost its entire catalogue around 2018 and rebuilt it around a small number of recurring formats — classic fruit slots, hold-and-win, and the Timeless Fruit series — which gave operators a consistent, recognisable product line.
Alongside the games it sells a promotional layer of network tournaments and prize drops that operators run across its catalogue. It has held British remote casino and gambling software licences since 2015-2016 and has added Romanian, Greek and other approvals. It opened a Slovakian hub in 2022 for staff relocating from Ukraine. It appears on 1,383 casinos in this project's collected data.

How well established
The British licence account and the Maltese recognition notice are documented. The 2012 founding, the Ukrainian development roots and the catalogue reset around 2018 are reported rather than registry-backed.
