History
The timeline on Old Skool Studios' site starts in 2011 with design and outsourcing work for Rocket Gaming Systems (the land-based Magic of Isis), BC Lottery Corporation and GameHouse's social casino before its first in-house real-money slot, Epic City. Epic City, an HTML5 video slot for regulated markets, was released on Odobo in October 2014, went live with bet365 and Unibet in November 2014 and later reached LeoVegas, Gala, Coral and Mr Green. The studio also produced social slots for Neowiz's Seastar Casino, worked with International Games System, counted Zynga among its clients and helped Lost World Games develop King of Kaiju: Rampage Riches in 2015.
After Odobo closed in May 2016, the studio agreed to make four new titles through Microgaming, and La Rouge and Jewel Quest Riches were released on Microgaming's Quickfire platform in 2017. Its home page, last edited in 2022 and still online in September 2025, described Old Skool as an independent studio based in Vancouver delivering exclusive content to Games Global Limited, with a team focused on proven mechanics, strong narratives, visuals and sound. In October 2026 its domain served only an empty directory listing, and Games Global's Studios page, which lists 34 studios, did not include it.
