History
NowNow Gaming was founded in Cape Town in early 2024 and describes itself as one of the first game studios to emerge from South Africa. Its name comes from the South African phrase 'now now', meaning right away, which the studio links to fast-paced games. It says it aims to build a global brand from its South African base by experimenting with new mechanics and maths.
Its catalogue is split into partner-exclusive games and local games. The site lists 22 partner-exclusive titles with release dates from September 2024 to October 2026, most marked as powered by Hacksaw OpenRGS, among them RoboSpin, a crypto-themed slot and instant-win hybrid released on BGaming in September 2024, Shadow Treasure (November 2024), 8-Bit Quest (March 2025) and Outlaw Rooster, dated October 2026. Its ten local games with South African themes, such as Shakas Riches and Sesfikile Spins, are listed as release date to be confirmed.
