History
Livespins was unveiled at the iGamingNext Valletta event in October 2021, signed its first client the following month and ran its first live stream on CasinoFriday on 25 November 2021. Michael Pedersen, formerly of Flutter and NetEnt, joined as chief commercial officer in December 2021. Through 2022 and 2023 it signed distribution deals with EveryMatrix, SOFTSWISS, Relax Gaming, Slotegrator and others and added content from studios such as Yggdrasil, Skywind, iSoftBet, Kalamba and Evoplay, and it won the Innovation in Slot Provision title at the EGR B2B Awards in 2023.
On 6 February 2024 Evolution announced that its subsidiary Evolution Malta Holding Limited had agreed to buy Livespins Holding Ltd for EUR 5 million up front plus an earn-out on 2026 performance, with completion planned for the second quarter of 2024; the privacy policy states that Livespins Limited forms part of the Evolution Group. It added Nolimit City games in April 2024, became available through Evolution's One Stop Shop in October 2024 and added Thunderkick in November 2024. In February 2025 it announced a Malta Gaming Authority licence and a supplier licence from the Gibraltar Gambling Commission. Its press releases are datelined Malta, where it advertises studio-based roles.
