History
Playzido Limited was incorporated in London in July 2017 as an open games platform led by managing director Stuart Banks, who had run gaming products at large operators. It positioned its remote game server as a home for smaller studios and for branded content, working with Endemol Shine on Deal or No Deal games and adding engagement features such as a free-spins factory, jackpots, dynamic pricing and achievements. In 2021 it built an exclusive Deal or No Deal game for the Dutch Postcode Lottery, and Scientific Games signed an exclusive deal to carry Playzido content on its OpenGaming platform.
The site now states that, as part of its integration into the Light & Wonder family, Playzido is known as Light & Wonder Spark, the name for studios developing games directly on the Light & Wonder platform. Its catalogue mixes its own titles with games from studios such as Pixiu, Atlantic Digital, Bang Bang Games, Rogue, Hitsqwad, ReelPlay and Light & Wonder, and it offers operators custom versions of mechanics and brands such as Megaways, Cash Falls and Lion Link.
