History
King Show Games started in December 1998 as a developer of slot and video poker games for the casino industry. Its first game, State Fair, made with help from local art students and named in tribute to the founder's first job at a carnival, premiered at the World Gaming Congress in October 2000. KSG then formed a partnership with what it calls a world leader in slot-machine manufacturing, and its later titles include Lucky Larry's Lobstermania, $tinkin' Rich, Big 5 Safari, Phone Tag, Ghost Island and the Hot Roll video-poker series.
The studio says its artists, software engineers and mathematicians have designed more than 200 games, licensed in many countries, and it publishes a long list of US patents covering its mechanics. Beyond land-based content it makes free-to-play social casino apps, Show Me Vegas Slots and Lobstermania Slots, for desktop and mobile, and licenses games to the social-casino developer Blitzoo. The company, King Show Games, Inc., gives a legal correspondence address in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
