History
JINX started in 2024, when a small group of creatives set out to make slots that borrow from other entertainment industries rather than repeat familiar mechanics and mythological themes. Its founder is Reu Wilde. The studio joined Hacksaw Gaming's OpenRGS partner programme in December 2025 with its first title, Dead Headz, whose Shoot & Loot bonus mechanic is protected by registered design rights and offered to other studios for royalties. It followed with Jumpasaurs! in February 2026 and Toxic Waste, a cluster-pays slot released in August 2026 with a stated maximum win of 10,000x; in October 2026 its site listed two Rune Beasts! cluster slots, Sharp Peaks and Deep Trenches, with a release date of 18 November 2026.
In April 2026 Hacksaw Ventures, part of Hacksaw Gaming, agreed to invest in JINX and became a minority shareholder, with an option to increase its stake over time; the deal was framed as a way to keep developing and releasing titles through OpenRGS.
