History

iSoftBet was founded in 2010 and built two businesses in parallel: a first-party slot studio and the Game Aggregation Platform (GAP), which distributed thousands of third-party titles to operators through a single integration. That dual model made it both a studio and a distributor, so an 'iSoftBet' supplier entry on a casino may cover far more than iSoftBet-developed games.

International Game Technology PLC acquired iSoftBet for EUR 160m, completing on 5 July 2022, and folded it into its PlayDigital division. It is frequently and incorrectly reported as an Everi acquisition; Everi never bought it. When Apollo funds acquired IGT's Gaming & Digital business and Everi and combined them in July 2025, iSoftBet passed into the resulting private company that trades as IGT.

Notable

  • Runs both a first-party studio and a third-party aggregation platform carrying over 4,600 titles — that platform, not its own games, was the strategic prize.
  • Acquired by International Game Technology PLC for about EUR 160m: announced 11 April 2022, completed 5 July 2022, into IGT PlayDigital.
  • Commonly misreported as an Everi acquisition — Everi never owned iSoftBet; both simply ended up inside the same Apollo-owned company in July 2025.
  • Its own domain isoftbet.com no longer resolves, consistent with absorption into IGT; its aggregation platform is still visible on per-operator gap-*.isoftbet.com hosts.

Notable work

  • Hot Spin
  • Megaways Jack
  • Moriarty Megaways
  • 24 Hour Grand Prix
  • Majestic Megaways

How well established

The IGT acquisition, its price and its completion date are documented from company announcements; the passage into the Apollo-owned company follows from that transaction. That Everi never owned iSoftBet was checked against both companies' announcements.
