Grover Gaming

Grover Gaming began as a distributed gaming route in eastern North Carolina, focused on operator relationships and customer service; its about page, last updated in May 2025, dates those beginnings to more than 20 years earlier. It grew into a developer of software, game content and gaming systems for lotteries and charitable-gaming jurisdictions, producing its art, audio, game software and back-end reporting systems in-house.

The company is now the charitable-gaming division of Light & Wonder, Inc. and one of that group's providers of electronic pull tabs, video lottery terminals and historical horse racing; it says it has more than 10,000 machines in over a thousand locations across the United States. It sells its own HYDRO touch-screen cabinet series, which hosts more than 25 electronic pull-tab games, along with self-service redemption kiosks, and it is licensed in Ohio, New Hampshire, Kentucky, North Dakota and Virginia.
