History
GoldenRace was founded in 2006 by its CEO Martin Wachter and built its business on virtual sports for retail betting shops and online operators, led by a motion-captured 3D virtual football product. It obtained a Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence in 2016 and a UK Gambling Commission licence in 2018, the year it also joined NASPL, and released its VBOX retail product in 2019. Licences in Spain, Sweden and Romania followed in 2020 and it went live in Greece in 2021.
From 2022 it widened its range beyond virtual sports, launching Omega Mobile and entering crash games, then releasing Fire Crash for retail in 2023, an MMA game, the Big5 football experience in 2025 and a Hit&Win game category in 2026. The company says it generates more than 25 million tickets a day for over 500 clients, lists 14 certificates and licences across markets including Brazil, Colombia, Italy, Peru and South Africa, and works with the slot developer Spinmatic and the live-game provider TVBET.
