History
Crucible Gaming says it was founded by experienced gaming-industry professionals to create products for the international market, and describes itself as 'Sheffield born and bred'. It works from Electric Works on the Sheffield Digital Campus; a 2025 job advert on its site says it codes games in JavaScript and TypeScript with the Pixi library and its own framework, and its demo area sits behind an 18+ age check.
Its published games are all listed as available through the Light & Wonder OGS platform. Earlier titles include Bar-X Infinity Reels, a branded game using the Infinity Reels mechanic, the retro 8-line Cherry-8, Yukon Gold, Road Trip 66, Quarterback Fields of Glory and Beaver Las Vegas. How well established
The Sheffield base, the Light & Wonder distribution and the game list with release months are documented on the official site; the company number and incorporation date come from the UK companies register. The official site does not state a founding year, a gambling licence or a parent company, and its privacy policy and partners page are unfilled templates.
