History
CQ9 Gaming says it has focused on research and development since its inception in 2016, launching slots, fishing games and other products. It describes in-house game, art and sound design teams, says it has developed more than one hundred themed games on an HTML5 engine, and publishes its site in nine languages, including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese. It made its debut at iGB Live in London in 2022 and has since signed content partnerships with review and affiliate sites in Europe.
It says its catalogue has more than 200 games, among them slots such as Jump High, Wizard's Wizard, Golden Horus, Sugar Combo and Mahjong Break, multiplayer fishing games such as Paradise, table games and arcade titles. The RNG of CQ9 Limited is certified by GLI, and a 2022 partnership post on the site also refers to a Curacao eGaming licence. CQ9 unveiled a new brand identity at ICE 2026 in Barcelona, showed it at iGB Live London in July 2026, and announced a stand at SBC Summit in Lisbon for 29 September to 1 October 2026.
