Comtrade Gaming says it launched its first gaming software project in 2001 and is part of the Comtrade Group, an international IT solutions and services provider. It describes itself as an independent software provider of open gaming platforms and professional services for the online and land-based sectors. Its about page lists about 380 employees and seven technology centres, next to a '21 years of experience' counter that dates those figures to around 2022. Its chief executive is named as Ales Gornjec. Client testimonials on its site come from Dafabet, Genting Alderney, Bally Technologies, Ainsworth Game Technology, Tatts Group and the Austrian Federal Computing Centre.

Its product lines are iCore, an enterprise online gaming platform with bonusing and CRM modules; sCore, gaming-systems management for land-based machines, including G2S and S2S protocol stacks and a SAS-to-G2S converter board; and gCore, a remote game server and game engine. Under the CG Games brand it publishes its own slots, crash, step-crash and table games, and it offers game development, testing and distribution services to other studios. It is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and Romania's ONJN, its sCore G2S engine is certified by GLI, and it holds ISO 9001:2015.
