History
Boomerang Studios was founded in 2018 by gaming industry veterans, according to its own timeline, with the aim of building slots that keep a classic feel while adding new mechanics. Its first in-house mechanic, Connecta Ways, launched with Gems of Egypt in 2020 and pays for matching symbols that touch anywhere on the grid. In 2021 it introduced the Boom Bet ante-bet system in Lady Merlin Lightning Chase, released through Yggdrasil Gaming.
Later releases include Wild Joker Blitz in 2024 and the 3 Wonders series from 2025, which opened with 3 Wonders New Year Carnival. The studio offers its games to aggregators and operators in HTML5. Its contact address is 125B Copeland Road, Beecroft, NSW, and its footer cites UK Gambling Commission account 60358; the Commission's register lists Boomerang Studios Pty Ltd under that account with a remote gambling software licence held from August 2022 and surrendered on 17 September 2026.
