History
Boldplay is a trademark of Univam Ltd, with its contact office at Neptune House in Marina Bay, Gibraltar. Its catalogue spans video slots, its own jackpot networks (Superpot, Superpays and the configurable Supersweep), scratch games, table games, keno, video bingo and lottery titles, built around in-house features such as Boldplay Select, Storm, Surprise and Spins. The studio says its games can be shown in more than 20 languages and over 175 currencies, and that they are certified by the test houses GLI and Gaming Associates.
Its licensing grew quickly from 2023: a Gibraltar B2B remote gambling licence and a Romanian ONJN Class 2 licence in early 2023, MGA recognition in April 2023, then a UKGC remote gambling software licence, Buenos Aires City (LOTBA) approval, Peruvian authorisation and a Michigan licence in 2024. In September 2024 it announced a UK supply deal with the Rank Group, and in October 2024 it announced its acquisition by Openbox Holdings, an iGaming content distributor active across Asia and other markets.
