History

Big Wave Gaming describes itself as a Sydney studio specialising in slot development, with a track record in land-based, online and social casino games and a team that has spent decades creating exclusive bespoke games for Novomatic, Greentube, Skywind and others. Ivan Rungkat is named as its managing director and later as CEO. In 2020 it built two Japanese-themed games for the blockchain casino platform FunFair Technologies: the dice game Cho Han and the slot Five Fruits.

In November 2021 EveryMatrix onboarded the studio onto its RGS Matrix remote gaming server, bringing over its existing portfolio and new titles, and in March 2023 it partnered with PDX Slots to develop and commercialise games for North American online casinos. In 2026 its games page listed titles including Wall Street Bets: YOLO, a nested hold-and-spin game, Mo Mo Moolah, Koi & Dragon and The Great Sage. The site's footer carries a 2025 copyright line.
