History
Bede Gaming was founded in 2012 as a flexible alternative to legacy gambling platforms, built on a single code base with an open API for third-party integrations. It opened development operations in Bulgaria from its first year, created Bede Canada in 2018 and a Sofia office in 2022, and took the Ontario lottery operator OLG live in 2021; it says it now powers the largest online lottery in North America. In 2022 it was named EGR B2B Platform and Full Service Provider of the Year.
The company describes itself as part of the Merkur Group, with a team of about 300 across three continents.
