2 By 2 Gaming was set up by its founder and CEO Shridhar Joshi. According to the company, he joined the start-up gaming division of WMS as its fourth employee and later became WMS's VP of Global Product Strategy, leading advanced R&D; the site credits him with more than 45 patents and with developing slots such as Jackpot Party, Life of Luxury, Powerball and Monopoly. The studio describes its team as having nearly 125 years of combined game development experience, more than 65 issued patents and about 35 pending patent applications.

Its services page says it has developed games for land-based manufacturers including Bally Technologies, Incredible Technologies and Alfastreet, and that its content has reached online casinos through platforms such as Quickfire, OpenBet, Lega, Amaya, Multislot and WorldMatch. It also converts land-based games for online play, naming Bally Technologies and Bluberi Gaming as clients, and names the social casino apps Mega Fame Casino and Tropworld as outlets for its games. In October 2026 its portfolio page listed 64 titles, including branded slots based on the sitcoms Frasier and The Honeymooners.
