History
ICE grew into the industry's largest supplier-facing exhibition at ExCeL London, with attendance rising from 21,336 in 2012 to 36,093 in 2019; a 2025 organiser testimonial calling that year the '31st edition' implies a mid-1990s founding, not independently confirmed. Its farewell London edition in Feb 2024 drew a record 52,345 unique attendees. Clarion Events moved the show to Fira Barcelona Gran Via for its January 2025 edition, rebranding it ICE Barcelona; the first Barcelona edition, combined with the co-located iGB Affiliate event, drew a reported record 59,101 visitors. The January 2026 edition, combined with co-located events under a 'World Gaming Week' banner, reported 62,988 attendees - trade press described it as a further attendance record. The organiser is promoting 65,000+ visitors from 186 countries for the January 2027 edition.

How well established
The attendance series, the move from London to Barcelona and the published 2027 dates come from the organiser and from trade reporting. The founding year is not published: a mid-1990s date is implied by an organiser testimonial describing 2025 as the show's 31st edition, and is not independently confirmed.
