История
Thunderkick was founded in 2012 in Stockholm and states that it has remained independent. It publishes original slots with in-house art and mathematics rather than branded or licensed content, and built its own remote game server for direct operator integration. It obtained a British software licence in 2015 and has added Swedish, Maltese, Danish and Ontario approvals since.
It became a Relax Gaming 'Powered By' studio partner in 2022, using Relax's distribution while remaining a separate company, and entered the United States social and sweepstakes market in 2024. Its team is over eighty people in Stockholm and its catalogue is approaching one hundred games. Gavin Hamilton, previously associated with Red Tiger's leadership, became chairman in January 2024. Reports of an acquisition in 2024 or 2025 do not check out — no company or trade-press announcement exists, and its own 2025 and 2026 releases still describe it as an independent studio.
