История
Nolimit City was founded in 2013 in Stockholm with a Maltese operating entity, and built its own remote game server and back office rather than relying on an aggregator, which let it sell directly to operators. It became known for deliberately extreme volatility and for dark or transgressive game themes, several of which drew regulatory attention in some markets.
Evolution announced an agreement to acquire the entire share capital on 22 June 2022, through its subsidiary Evolution Malta Holding Limited: EUR 200m up front in cash plus earn-outs of up to EUR 140m tied to EBITDA over three years, a total of up to EUR 340m all payable in cash. The commonly quoted EUR 340m is the ceiling, not the up-front price. The deal completed later in 2022.
