Amusnet Interactive

The company was registered in Sofia on 6 November 2015 as Amusnet Gaming Bulgaria and renamed EGT Interactive three weeks later. Under that name it became one of the most widely distributed suppliers on Eastern European, Balkan and Latin American casino sites, on the strength of a catalogue derived from Euro Games Technology land-based titles — Shining Crown, 40 Super Hot, Burning Hot and the rest. It was renamed Amusnet Interactive on 20 May 2022, announced publicly that March.

The important correction is what that rebrand was not. Bulgarian Commercial Register filings show the sole shareholder throughout was Amusnet Gaming Limited of Malta; Euro Games Technology never appears in the ownership chain, and EGT's own corporate history timeline never mentions EGT Interactive. So this was not a sale, a spin-off or a demerger — it was a rebrand that retired a borrowed brand. What connects the two companies is common beneficial ownership rather than equity: the same person is the declared ultimate beneficial owner of Amusnet, of Euro Games Technology and of EGT Digital. Amusnet entered land-based hardware at ICE London in 2024, so it now competes with EGT rather than feeding it. Casino supplier lists reading 'Amusnet (Former EGT Interactive)' — as they do on 723 sites in this project's data — describe the name change accurately but imply a corporate parentage that never existed.
